have you updated carrier settings?

anything different on RootMetrics or Sensorly as regards coverage in your area?

It doesn't relate to the WiFi Calling folks are looking for.

 

WiFi Calling is a T-Mobile application that allows you to do calls out via your T-Mobile number over a WiFi connection.

 

GrooveIP and the rest allow you to do calls over a data connection (WiFi or Cellular) with a DIFFERENT number from your T-Mobile number.

I have too an old basic phone(not smart phone) but lucky it came with a browser.  I don't have a data plan either.  just a regular old nokia that I love it. Wish I could help, sorry.

Unlock your mobile wireless device

 

If you want to be added as an authorized user on your family account plan you need to go through the primary account holder who can call T-Mobile and add you on

Hi mansinha,

 

Thank you for your reply! The primary account holder tried to call T-Mobile, but can't get through, as we're currently abroad. Is there another way to get around this?

 

When I went to the T-Mobile store in the US yesterday and explained that I was flying, they told me that it was a simple process that could be just completed online.

Yeah I know its for new activation's only, but I was wondering whether or not it was possible to get it back because I made a mistake when activating and didn't notice until it was too late.

 

Anyone know what I should do?

You can contact them through this forum (T-Force), online chat when available or via Facebook or Twitter - yes the unlock is simple - I did it for my iPhone 6 but in the case of iPhone you have to restore the phone through iTunes.

 

I am given to understand that for the Samsung devices it is an unlock code that needs to be entered into the phone. Either way - once the requirements in the article are fulfilled - T-Mobile is pretty good about getting you the unlock code.

 

As for adding as authorized user - I think you may have to connect with them via the methods I mentioned above. They may want some kind of confirmation as to your identity so a conversation would probably be a good option.

I have the SM-G900A, I know the S5 will be getting Android L soon, I'd like to know if it will still get updates. Also, if I switch from AT&T will I get the apps that enabled mobile hotspot or TMobile TV?

Is $75.00 fee accurate? I got it from here my information, I am just trying to clarify because this purchase is different from most, I got this one on the day of TMUS FREE TABLET ON US terms.  I pretty much see that I would lose $75.00 fee if reject it.

I just found out my line is cancelled but, I want to know how long do I have until I can reactivate this line? I seem to have cancelled on november 23, 2014 the line, also the automated system had the ability to reactivate the line.

Hi,

 

A brief history:

I have the HTC1.  I have had 3 major problems where I had to turn the phone in for a replacement.  The 2nd was this last January.  The 3rd was on Dec. 1st.  There have been multiple issues with this phone.

 

The latest was the on off button worked some times.  The speaker phone was totally broken.

 

The replacement phone came in and it has been a disaster.  Nothing faster than 2G.  The phone quality was pathetic.  People could hardly hear me on the other end, and it had loud static.

 

The customer care asked me to take it into a store for diagnostics.  The local store person said this is a bad phone and suggested to get another replacement...

 

So we call Customer Care again.  They send us to Customer Loyalty on Thursday afternoon,  because we have had several issues.  The customer loyalty person promised they would overnight the replacement phone.

 

Nothing came on Friday.  The phone died completely Friday night.

 

Nothing came on Saturday.

 

Tried to get the phone working on Saturday, but it is DEAD!  It powers up, but no bars.

 

Had a disaster of a time trying to call people on my land line for my civic responsibilities over the weekend.  You don't realize how dependent you are on phones, texting, internet, etc until you don't have your phone.

 

Called customer care again tonight and asked them why we have not received the phone on the "overnight delivery".

 

They said it went on a two day back order just after you were promised overnight delivery.  I asked "Why didn't anybody contact us?"  They had no answer.

 

They asked why we didn't get a loaner phone from a store?  We said "No one let us know this was possible!".  We were promised an overnight delivery.

 

This has been very frustrating. Did I make a mistake getting warranty insurance on my phone?  Is TMobile too big now to take care of their customers?

 

I talked to a customer loyalty person again tonight.  I asked to talk to a Supervisor.  He said "I push the same buttons that they do."  You don't need a supervisor.  All that I know is that I was more upset after speaking to this guy than when I started.  I suggested that due to this poor service, poor phones, being down for days, that I should not have to pay service for this month.  He offered "$10 a month discount for 6 months".  I just want a reliable phone and people telling me the truth.  At least communicating with me when their promises can not be fulfilled.

 

We have been with TMobile for over 11 years.  TMobile has been generally good.  But the comedy of errors has us wondering.

 

Sorry for the vent, but needed to get it out.  Hoping for a better week.

A full billing cycle would be a month in which you have service for an entire month. It is possible that your 1st bill will not be a complete month depending on your start date.

When accessing my "Browser" on my Opitmus Lg the first thing that comes up is a message  "Your Android may be infected" Scan and Remove Virus Suspicious threat is detected. Is this a legitimate warning?

Hi techies,

I have been using Nokia Lumia 810 from last 2 years, and I am using that phone in India, where this model is not launched and suddenly on one day, it stopped working.

It wont turn on, it does not respond at all, I thing the software is corrupted

Can you guys help me on this?

Does it work if you remove and re-install the battery? Could the battery have gone bad? (Try a replacement battery.)

 

If it is more of a software type of issue, you can see if the "master reset using hardware keys" technique works:
